Goodbye Microsoft, hello OpenSUSE
I finally made the move and this time is for good. I experimented with Linux several years ago. I remember getting free Ubuntu and Kubuntu CDs from Canonical and even Solaris CDs from Oracle. But there would always be some kind of issue with drivers or broken dependencies or whatever. This time I opted for OpenSUSE (which was among my favorite distros 15 years ago or so). Tumbleweed is great. It works flawlessly. It's smooth and fast. KDE is still an amazing DE.
I am also in the process of degoogling right now. It will take at least a month, but I'll do it. I closed my Twitter account yesterday and today I'll close Facebook. Some apps don't exactly have a European alternative, but I don't want to be a fundamentalist, so I can wait.
Great sub, people!
