Solo in College, Deep in Tech
Hey folks,
College life for me is basically tech, code, and more tech. No social circle, no study groups—just me optimizing my skills while slowly turning into a human algorithm. Career-wise, I’m making strides. Socially? Let’s just say my network has more firewalls than connections.
I don’t mind the solo grind, but yeah, sometimes it hits—especially when I imagine having someone to share these moments with. A fellow tech geek to discuss security flaws, argue over AI ethics, and maybe celebrate a successful hackathon together. Not necessarily a full-blown romance, just connection.
How do you all deal with the loneliness of being deep into your passion? Have you found ways to build meaningful bonds without forcing social interactions? Open to ideas, experiences, or just some good old geeky banter.
Let’s chat. Who knows, maybe this thread sparks something interesting.
