He keeps blocking and unblocking me

So me and my ex have been broken up for 2,5 months now, i am the dumpee. And to make matters worse i did have a crash out for a full month where i tried everything in my power to make things right with him. I was blocked everywhere so to contact him i made new insta accounts, got new numbers, i went to his house, his gym, i honestly went crazy for a whole month and i’m not proud of it.

Anyways i haven’t had contact with him for 1,5 months now, blocked him and my crash out had stopped lol. I noticed 2 weeks ago that he unblocked me on insta and then i waited 5 days before i unblocked him, just to see what he would do and whithin 3 hours he saw I unblocked him, and he blocked me again lol. So i blocked him again.

Then yesterday, after 2 weeks, he unblocked me again. And while i was initially going to ignore it and keep him blocked, curiosity got the best of me. After a day i decided to unblock him and dm him “do you need attention?” And he saw my dm and blocked me AGAIN right after.

I honestly want to know what his motive is because i don’t get it at all. He has been following a lot of girls since the break up, even one that send him a follow request which he initially declined during our relationship, so i know that after the break up, he send her a follow request because girls won’t send it twice.
