Playing first time out of bedroom any advice?

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker and I love that you guys post things about your gigs. I recently sent out a mix and this event invited me to play something small for their lounge/kickback/cafe. They’ve informed me that this place uses the latest CDJs. I’m pretty nervous because I’m going from laptop and mix track pro 2 to professional dj equipment. Does anyone have advice for butterflies and how to use the equipment. I’d assume that the layout will be something similar. Can I plug in my laptop? Or would it be better to just bring a usb.
