being a barber in NYC

i currently live in florida and finished barber school 2 months ago. i was thinking about moving to brooklyn or manhattan and i wanted to know if barbers get paid well out there. especially as a new barber. NYC expensive as hell so im not sure if it makes sense, but its where i want to be. how are barbers in nyc doing financially? is it doable? what are the prices over there? is it hard to get a lot of walk in clients?
