Can someone help me? DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

Hello. This is my first post. To preface, I am not very tech-savvy, so I have no idea what this means. I get to one particular scene in act 2 and get this error. I can't advance anymore and I need help figuring what is wrong and how to fix this. I use a Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Gen 2. I already tried installing any updates. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
