What’s your take on office days vs annual leave (hybrid policy)?

Need some advice here from the Reddit community!

Our hybrid policy is 3 days in the office & 2 days working from home. The 3 days are up to us and I generally stick to set days due to a few factors, including my ADHD. Helps to manage my week better.

I have been doing my 3 days consistently, despite part of my team not doing the same.

Two months ago I spoke with my manager as I knew I needed to WFH additional days this week and next week for my best friend’s wedding.

She approved my WFH schedule for these two weeks back then which was great.

Last week, the head of our team messaged me directly to say that he noticed I am not doing my 3 days for these two weeks.

For context, I was on annual leave on one of my office days this week, and I’m on annual leave 1.5 days next week on one of my office days & and 1 wfh day. So I’m only going in one day next week and working an additional day at home for the wedding events in the evening.

He has told me to change my days and make sure I’m in 3 days.

He didn’t inform my manager of this, and she hasn’t stuck up for me and pushed back.

I’m in a difficult position here, as none of my hard work and commitment to the policy has given me any goodwill here. And they are attempting to revoke my additional wfh which was approved 2 months ago…

Side note: they also denied my flexible working request (flexing my hours on days needed ie doing 8-4 instead). They know I have ADHD and struggle with certain aspect of the job and I genuinely cannot stand the double standards here. They can do 2 days a week if needed or leave work early, but it seems to be an issue for me, despite me getting approval in advance. Any advice would be great - thanks!
