Should I gift something to my friend on Her Birthday ?

There are many things. But first of all I am first time Going to a Girl's birthday. So I don't know what you guys mostly do.

Do you guys give gifts ?? (As my male friends don't gift each other and one who has birthday pay for treat and friends just bring cake )

If girls gift each other so, what should I give? Birthday is on 28 dec

So I joined this new workplace (it's a factory not an corporate office)

She joined 3 month after me. And we started sit next to each other and clicked, Same intersts, same songs and very good vibe.

And to make things more interesting our clothes matched for 3 days in a row. And I am sikh, my turban and her shirt/tops matched for 3 days coincidentally and others in office started thinking we are dating or something is going on.

So due to some reason (i know but no need to share here )she left that job, but still in touch with me (at job she only spend 20 -25 days)

So we were chatting one day she said, you will come to my birthday. Original plan was she, her sis and her sister's bf. But she said she wanna add me as well.

So I think she is interested as well, so don't Wanna gift something very Romantic as well.

So far I have only given gifts to my sisters and I don't have to think there as I can gift expensive, I can give something very emotional etc. But here I am confused

She even told me without asking. I am wearing suit of this color. So I can match my turban (but I don't have that color😭 )

I think she is interested and I wanna give her a gift so please suggest me something.
