Was Che Guevara a bigot?

I've heard that Che Guevara was supposedly homophobic.

Mainly from right-wing sources, such as Agustin Laje and Nicolas Marquez.

But also more neutral sources like TED-ED's "History vs. Che Guevara - Alex Gendler" video.

I understand that the policies were dictated by Fidel Castro, but did Che Guevara support these policies? Did he participate in this "crusade"?

And if so, why?

I also heard (again, from right-wing sources) that he was supposedly racist as well. He viewed Native Americans (from Latin American countries) as inferior.

Or even viewed people of African descent as dirty.

What is the truth of these rumors?
