Is it even possible now to move this electrical outlet up the wall about 3 feet?
Just had the basement redone and had this unfinished section finished off. Only after we had it finished, we realized this wall would be great to put a base cabinet against so we could put some laundry supplies in it. Then I realized I’ll need the electrical outlet moved up the wall so it’s not blocked behind the cabinet. However, the original outlet is mounted on the concrete structure of the exterior wall, and there’s not stud anywhere on the wall at all. They filled it with insulation and then drywall. I want to ask the current workers to move it up the wall but I’m worried about their ability to do a good job. Do you think it’s even possible now? Or did we back ourselves into a corner here with the electric?
