Fallouts in Other Clubs – January Goldmine?
It’s cold here this morning, and as I sit here reflecting on Arsenal’s approach to January transfers, one thing sticks out: we’ve made a habit of looking at players who’ve been mismanaged or fallen out of favor elsewhere. Call it smart business or opportunism, it’s something we’ve done before—and it’s worked.
Think about it: Aubameyang was labeled a problem at Dortmund, but came here and thrived (for a while, at least). Trossard had issues with De Zerbi at Brighton, and now he’s an important part of the squad. Even Jorginho, who many wrote off, has added depth and experience.
With our current squad stretched thin and injuries piling up, finding a similar profile could be crucial. So here’s my question to the Gunners out there:
Who do you think fits the bill this January?
- Is Rodrygo at Real Madrid a fallout, or just in a bad patch of form?
- Are there other players stuck in situations that Arsenal could take advantage of?
We’re in desperate need of fresh legs—maybe even just on loan—to push us through the second half of the season. Let’s hear your suggestions!
