Does anyone else ever feel this?

I feel like this might just be me as a jealous/envious person, but in shows where they have asexual characters, I sometimes find that in a way, I wished the character was aroace. I'd NEVER do this irl, but with fictional characters I feel like it might be because I can connect with them and I want to relate with the character more if that makes sense? Idk, does this make me a bad person? Just a quick question lol
