Saving arrows for Demon King

Hi,

Can you tell me why is it worth to save arrows for the last boss instead of using them to capture nodes/sanctums/gates? Do they give me a significantly bigger amount of coins? I haven't seen this event before so i don't know that does it give me when I hit the boss!
