why do people take worth so serious😭

i was trading in bradys one day and i wanted to trade my white beta elf tail for a party hat of equal worth and these 2 people started like making fun of my offer and calling it a lowball and saying i wouldnt get it because elf tails are in low demand, while arguing with them tho someone traded me an orange party hat and add for it and i laughed in their face ab it

anyway idk why ppl take worth so seriously like its just a game relax
