Why no new NES FPGA console?

Just wondering if anyone knows why there isn't a a new NES console to replace the limited edition NT Mini Noir? If I were to guess it would probably because of them focusing on the Pocket, eventually releasing the Duo, restocking other models and of course the chip shortage. It would be really nice to have a $200 ish NT Mini made from plastic and only has two controller ports
