My 18 year old American Bully, has hip dysplasia
**18 MONTHS**
Hi yall, I just got back from my vet and am feeling really down after hearing that my boy has hip dysplasia. We were concerned when he started limping a few days ago. My vet showed me scans, which showed that parts of his joint aren’t in place. I’m feeling really upset about the potential surgery costs and the overall health of my boy, especially since he's so young. I love him to death, and it’s hard not to cry while typing this. We're being referred to a specialist for further consultation.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and could offer some insight. What were you told if you weren’t able to go through with surgery? What can I do to help him out? It's really scary, and I want my boy to be healthy for as long as possible. He’s a 92-lb standard bully, based in Canada.
