Helppppp
23f, 6mm AN in the IAC, moderate high frequency hearing loss, constant high pitch tinnitus, headaches/migraines/tmj - but supposedly not related to AN
I’ve seen a neurosurgeon at Jefferson who referred me to a radiation oncologist, both were strongly against surgery as they said surgery would cause me more harm than good. Their notion was another scan in 6 months and then talk about radiation plan.
I saw an otoneurologist at NYU Langone and he was strongly against radiation due to my age and said surgery was my best option for hearing preservation. He also recommended a scan in 6 months and then talk about when surgery would be a good option. He recommended me to his neurosurgeon colleague & the director of radiosurgery…
I also have an appointment with an otoneurologist at Jefferson too. I think depending on what the radiosurgey NYU guy says and the Jefferson otoneurologist recommends will help sway my feelings.
Any advice? Thanks ❤️
