PA to Real Estate exit opportunities?

Hey all,

I graduated in May 2024 with a degree in accounting and real estate. I’m currently working my first job as a Tax Associate at a Top 10 firm. I’m not sure how long I’ll stay in public accounting, but I’ve passed all four parts of the CPA. So after I complete my 1 year of experience and get licensed, I could theoretically entertain exit opportunities.

Has anyone here exited from public accounting into the real estate space? I’m hoping to learn what positions make the most sense for a young CPA. I’m thinking of commercial real estate firms, but would love to hear anyone’s perspective.
