My partner thinks I’m manipulating him

Today while talking to me, my partner made some cute noises which overloaded me with cuteness and I loved it SO MUCH. I asked him to make those noises again but he refused, the reason being he thinks I am manipulating him to say things and he doesn’t like it.

Another instance happened before, we were outside and we were worried that we might need to leave soon, while he ordered pizza at a restaurant nearby. Out of playful staged sadness, he said “whines my pizza” in a tone I find FUCKING cute. I loved it so much so I asked him to say it again, but he refused because of the same reason.
