Gluing velvet to play+

I want to glue velvet to a jewelry box which has been printed pla+ and I'm not sure what glue would work best.

I did try super glue on a failed print and its left those dark, almost wet looking, bloches which just doesn't look good to me.

Any advice on which glue to use would be appreciated!
