Surprise maternal haplogroup

I'm puertorrican as my family has been for 6+ generations and while my ancestry composition results weren't very surprising (61% European mostly Iberian, 18% Subsaharian Africa and 16% Native American), I got an unexpected maternal haplogroup: L3b1a1. 23andme didn't really have any info on it so I had to research elsewhere, but it seems to be linked to the Berber people of North Africa, specifically the aboriginal people of the Canary Islands. Since the islands were colonized by Spain in the 15th century, it might be that I'm descended from one of the first waves of women to come to Puerto Rico from Spain/ the Canary Islands?

Maybe I'm reaching but it's honestly the first time I've been excited over something about my ancestry. Have you found something unexpected or exciting about your maternal lineage?
